Nigeria To Dubia; Visa Requirements for A Dream Vacation

Travelling to Dubai has been one of the many exciting ways that many Nigeria residents choose to spend their vacation with friends and loved ones. So, if you’ve been yearning to visit Dubai again or love to go on a first-time visit, we’ve got some good news!

Yes, the good news is that you don’t need to wait anymore to visit Dubai! Today, we are sharing with you everything you need to know to make your visit to Dubai from Nigeria a reality.

1. Fill the Visa Application Form:

The first thing you have to do to get your tourist visa application for Dubai is to fill in the application. Of course, you don’t have to bore yourself with all the technicalities of the Visa application process. Once you’ve supplied all the relevant travel documents, we’ll take it up from there.

2. Your Flight Ticket:

As part of the application process, we’ll help you book a safe and secure flight on Emirates, Dubai’s international flight. This will be both your flight ticket and your return or onward flight ticket. This is required to prove that you will be returning or moving onward to a further destination after the period of your stay in Dubai. A photocopy of this return/onward ticket will be submitted as part of the documentation for your application process.

3. Photocopy of Passport Data Page:

A coloured photocopy of your passport data page is also required. However, your passport must have a minimum of 6 months validity for your travel. This means that if your passport is no longer valid for up to 6 months, it’s important that you renew it before applying for a visa to Dubai. For non-Nigerians, visiting Dubai from Nigeria, you’ll need a coloured copy of your CERPAC as well as your residence permit, instead.

4. Passport-sized Photograph:

As part of your application process, you’ll also be required to take a coloured passport-sized photograph of you for submission. Note that this is only acceptable in colour and it’s best to take a new one if the copy you have is older than 6 months. That way, it’s easier to process your application without delay.

5. Book your hotel reservation:

Is this sounding like a lot already? Don’t worry, that’s why we’re here to handle the entire process for you. You will need proof of your confirmed hotel booking for when you arrive in Dubai.

All of these may seem a bit overwhelming especially if it’s your first time in Dubai. However, at Vecta Travels, we take the stress of finding the right bookings off you, and ensure you get to enjoy only the best, for a smooth stay in Dubai. You can always trust our services when it comes to getting the best hotel reservations for your visit to Dubai.

6. Age requirement:

Only applicants who are above 45 years of age at the time of filing for the application are eligible for the visa. If you’re travelling as a couple, you’ll need to also submit a copy of your marriage certificate, and/or birth certificates if coming in with your kids. If you’re below 45 years and intend to travel alone, you might want to explore our other travel destinations, as the tourist visa category is not applicable to those in this age range.
