On our hunt for the best burger Restaurants to try in Lagos we consider a few. Going a step further we checked out major burger stops known for making this juicy American eat the right way. For an exhaustive list of the best burgers in Lagos, the appearance, ingredients used in preparing it and the overall taste.

For the best burger; look out for the flavour, quality of the flour used to make the buns, price at which it is valued and the meat used. There should be a personal idea expected from each burger tasted. Either it leaves you speechless, rolling your eyes in ecstasy or with a tongue out yucky expression. One thing we always love about burgers around Lagos is their individuality, something always separates them from the next one. This can either be with the name they are addressed, the process of making it or tasting.

To get the perfect review we decided to check out top burger spots where the traditional burger is being made. From tasting the well-caramelised onions which are a must in burgers to the minced meat and bread which determines how crunchy or otherwise the end product is. Never leave out the fries in any good burger’s review.

Burger Restaurants in Lagos

SOUTH RESTAURANT

Located at no 92B Younis Bashorun Street, Victoria Island, Lagos.

South restaurant prides itself in being a go-to for good food that would hug you back no matter what state of mind you might be. The French as they refer to their burger in the menu is an expensive one but worth it. Especially the taste of the camembert added to their burger would change your mind about the price ASAP. The quality of the cheese will also leave you speachless and wonder if it’s made in Nigeria? Take time out to visit and you would not regret it.

South Restaurant

BBQ & CRAVINGS

Located at 4 Lekki-Epe Expressway, Lekki, Lagos.

From the adventurous name given to their burger, we can’t just wait to taste what it’s like. It comprises of strawberry jam, slow-cooked oxtail, mozzarella, caramelised onions, salsa and beef patty to complete the combo. I can imagine some people’s expression at this combo but like it or not, it fantastic.

Temple cottage

TEMPLE COTTAGE

Located at Plot 322 Akin Ogunlewe Road, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The unassuming appearance of Temple Cottage hotel might want to discourage you from trying out their restaurant. On arrival, you would be shown to the dining area and given the menu, just look out for the famous Dagwood Burger comprising of runny eggs and baked pineapples. Like, are we for reals? Yes, with a special fit of the buns you have a creation yet to be rivalled in its elegance.

Burger Restaurants in Lagos

HSE GOURMET

Located at Plot 2 Emma Abimbola Cole street Lekki Phase I, Lagos.

If you are in search of a deliciously different palate, welcome to HSE Gourmet where everything on the menu is different from what you know it to be. One thing we love about the Double prime beef burger is its filing capabilities.

Wings n Sides

WINGS N SIDES

Located at Plot29 Fola Osibo road, Lekki Phase I, Lagos.

Not just a crispy chicken burger, wings n sides is an art on its own right. Check out the arrangement of the burger, the dripping of cheese and caramelised onions.

JOHNNY ROCKETS

Located at 1411 Ademola Adetokunbo street Victoria Island, Lagos.

Johnny Rockets is an American burger outlet which decided to spread its goodness to our shoes. Their traditional burger known as the smokehouse double has enough steak meat to fill a team. Settle down with the smokehouse double and a tall glass of long island to make that perfect weekend outing.
